2. What the app does
Under FM plays looping background beats under other audio — podcasts, audiobooks, and music apps. You can browse beats, adjust tempo, favorite tracks, and control playback from the lock screen. There is no account sign-up. A free tier includes a starter set of tracks; Under FM Pro unlocks the full library through the App Store.
3. What we do not collect
- Name, email, phone number, or password — there are no user accounts
- Location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
- Advertising identifiers for ad targeting — the app has no ad network

5. iCloud & CloudKit
If you are not signed into iCloud, Under FM works fully on-device. Favorites and stats stay local; listening time is also kept in a local backup so it does not reset.
If you are signed into iCloud, favorites, recents, and listening time sync through Apple iCloud / CloudKit under Apple’s privacy policy.
Favoriting a track while signed into iCloud may write an anonymous vote (track ID + device UUID) to a public CloudKit database used only to rank the “Top” list. No personal identity is attached.

6. Subscriptions & payments
All payments go through the Apple App Store (StoreKit). We do not receive or store credit card numbers.
Current products:
- Under FM Pro Annual — auto-renewing subscription (may include a free trial when offered in the App Store)
- Under FM Pro Lifetime — one-time non-consumable purchase
Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

8. Children
Under FM is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
To request access or deletion of data we control, email chris@entermaurs.com. For iCloud-synced data, you can also delete the app and manage iCloud storage in iOS Settings.
California: We do not sell personal information. Our collection is limited to what is described above.
EU / UK: We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the app) and for legitimate interests (anonymous aggregate Top chart ranking). iCloud processing is performed by Apple as a processor under Apple’s terms.
10. Data retention
- Local app data: until you delete the app or clear its data
- iCloud data: until you remove it from iCloud or delete your Apple ID (subject to Apple’s retention practices)
- Superwall and RevenueCat: retained as described in their privacy policies
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Under FM after changes means you accept the updated policy.
